In 2002 Rob Beaulieu formed Raisinhead to play a wide variety of improvisational roots music. Taking from the country, blues, rock, and bluegrass Raisinhead has created its own musical stew. Following the tradition of the Band, Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, Little Feat, and Allman Brothers sprinkle in some Talking Heads and Stones and you get the idea. With 3 Albums of original material as well as playing material from The Ominous Seapods, Rob’s solo efforts, and cover music the song list is over 100 tunes.
Raisinhead has been playing all over the Northeast for 20 years and has played at the NYS Fair, Albany Alive at 5, Tulip Festival, Larkfest, Rye Bread, Washington Park Concert Series, Syracuse Concert Series, Saranac Lake Concert Series, ADK fest, and too many others to mention. We look forward to another 20 years with you all.. Available for any type of show from weddings to clubs to festivals to private parties.
Member, both past and present as we are like a big family.

Improvisational Roots Music
“Raisinhead reminds me of what Duke Ellington said ‘If it sounds good it is good’. The sweet melodic jam sounds of Raisinhead make even the harshest music critics swoon.”
